We are recruiting Order Pickers to join our efficient team in St. Louis, Missouri. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your precision directly impacts customer satisfaction and the overall success of our logistics operations. You will work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is paramount. We are dedicated to maintaining a secure and orderly workplace, and strict adherence to all safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE, is expected. Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and retrieve products from warehouse locations based on pick lists or digital orders.
- Ensure the correct quantity and item description are picked for each order.
- Inspect picked items for any defects or damage before packing.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or designated staging area.
- Operate order picking equipment safely and efficiently, such as pallet jacks or RF scanners.
- Maintain organization within your picking area to maximize efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and the correct use of PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to a supervisor immediately.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 40 pounds frequently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in item identification.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to safety protocols and the correct use of required PPE.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to meet picking targets.
