Are you ready to be a vital part of our logistics operations in Phoenix, Arizona? We are actively seeking a dedicated Receiving Clerk to manage the incoming flow of goods at our distribution center. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all incoming shipments are accurately received, inspected, and documented. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be key to maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting the overall efficiency of our supply chain. This position involves handling a variety of products, requiring careful inspection and proper handling procedures. You will work closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve any discrepancies and ensure that materials are ready for distribution. A strong commitment to safety, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and adherence to proper lifting techniques are essential. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Inspect goods for damage and discrepancies against purchase orders.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.
- Stage received goods for put-away or further processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding receiving issues.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting and the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Commitment to safety in all aspects of the job, including correct PPE usage.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
