We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that all items are handled with care and efficiency. Your primary goal will be to contribute to the smooth operation of our distribution center by meeting productivity targets and maintaining high standards of quality. This position requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety protocols. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to manage inventory, restock shelves, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Experience with order picking equipment is a plus, but comprehensive training will be provided to all successful candidates. Adherence to all company policies and procedures, including those related to workplace safety and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, as needed.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Conduct inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily goals.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
