Job Summary:
Our Colorado Springs, Colorado facility is seeking a dependable Material Handler to ensure the efficient flow of materials within our warehouse. This role is integral to our logistics operations, focusing on safely moving, organizing, and preparing goods for distribution. You will operate various material handling equipment and contribute to maintaining an organized and productive warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess a strong attention to detail, and demonstrate a commitment to safety. Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is advantageous. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments accurately and safely.
  • Organize and stack inventory in designated locations, optimizing space utilization.
  • Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, particularly in designated material handling areas.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, company policies, and the required use of PPE.
  • Identify and report any damaged goods or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
  • Support the logistics team in achieving daily operational targets.
  • Perform frequent lifting and other manual tasks as required.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating material handling equipment is a significant plus.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
  • Good spatial awareness and manual dexterity.
  • Reliable, punctual, and possessing a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with basic logistics principles is beneficial.
