As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient order processing. Your responsibilities will include navigating the warehouse, using scanning technology, and preparing orders according to strict guidelines. Safety is our highest priority; therefore, adherence to all safety protocols and the consistent use of provided PPE are mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick designated items from warehouse shelves based on order information.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Inspect picked items for any defects or damage.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipping, selecting appropriate materials.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
- Stage completed orders in the designated outbound area.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE diligently.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet daily fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in picking, packing, or warehouse work is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to perform lifting tasks up to 45 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Understanding of basic logistics operations and warehouse safety practices.
- Familiarity with scanning equipment is a plus.
- Must adhere to all safety guidelines and wear designated PPE.
