We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic team in Durham, North Carolina. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our facility. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and a commitment to **safety** are paramount. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and properly store goods.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently using handheld scanners.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided for certified operators).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all company policies and **safety** procedures.
- Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and stock replenishment.
- Ensure all **PPE** is worn correctly and that all **safety** protocols are followed at all times.
- Load and unload trucks as needed, adhering to **lifting** guidelines and safe work practices.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or **logistics** experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to **lift** up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to adhere to all **safety** regulations and wear required **PPE**.
