Regular moderate lifting is involved, and we emphasize adherence to all safety protocols, providing necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to all employees. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify product information and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages for shipment according to carrier and customer requirements.
- Stage packed orders for the shipping department.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support logistics operations.
- Meet established performance standards for picking and packing speed and accuracy.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer and scanning equipment operation skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Understanding of warehouse safety and logistics best practices.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
