We are seeking energetic and reliable Warehouse Associates to join our busy facility in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be involved in a variety of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Store merchandise in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation and placement.
- Pick and pack orders accurately based on customer requirements.
- Prepare items for shipment, including labeling and consolidation.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklifts).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all established safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Assist with loading trucks for outbound shipments.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a warehouse setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical activities, including prolonged standing, walking, and bending.
- Must be capable of heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
- Experience with RF scanners is a plus.
