We are looking for experienced Forklift Operators to join our dynamic logistics team in Dallas, Texas. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within our warehouse. Your role is critical to maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach) safely and efficiently to move products.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring accurate placement and securing of goods.
- Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on forklifts, reporting any issues.
- Pick and stage orders for shipment, verifying accuracy.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Strictly adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Identify and report any potential hazards or safety concerns within the warehouse.
- Contribute to efficient logistics operations and meet performance targets.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Certified forklift operator with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics setting. Proven ability to perform tasks requiring significant Lifting (up to 70 lbs). Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices. Experience with various types of forklifts is highly preferred. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic. Commitment to adhering to all PPE requirements and safety protocols. Experience in logistics operations is valued.
