We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Cincinnati, Ohio Distribution Center as a Distribution Center Associate. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, ensuring the efficient processing and movement of goods. As a DC Associate, you will engage in a variety of tasks including receiving merchandise, stocking shelves, picking orders, packing items, and preparing them for shipment. You'll be working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where accuracy and efficiency are key. Safety is our top priority; all associates are required to adhere to strict safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The role involves significant physical activity, requiring individuals to be on their feet for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift items up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Stock merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training available for qualified candidates).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to OSHA standards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by management.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the logistics operation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and be active for the entire shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and follow all safety guidelines.
- Reliable and punctual.
