Join our growing logistics team in Boise, Idaho, as an Order Picker! We are seeking individuals who are detail-oriented and efficient to accurately fulfill customer orders. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately locating, picking, and preparing items for shipment. Your ability to work quickly while maintaining precision is essential. This position requires physical stamina, as you will be on your feet for most of your shift and will be involved in lifting products. Safety is our top priority, and all team members are expected to adhere to strict safety guidelines and utilize provided PPE. This is a great entry-level opportunity in the logistics field.
Responsibilities:
- Read pick orders and accurately locate items in the warehouse.
- Use scanning equipment to record picked items.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping station.
- Ensure the correct quantity and item are picked for each order.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items immediately.
- Assist with stocking and inventory tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Experience with hand-held scanners is a plus.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting items up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and wearing required PPE.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse logistics is beneficial.
