Oversee project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using your technical expertise
Mentor and train team members on design principles and coding standards
Create and implement foundational infrastructure components that support all engineering teams in production (e.g., dynamic configuration, secrets storage, container orchestration)
Produce high-quality, thoroughly tested code to effectively meet customer needs
What We Look For: 8+ years of experience in software engineering
Demonstrated experience in architecting and developing solutions for complex, impactful challenges
A passion for building an open financial system that connects the world
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in developing financial, high-reliability, or security systems
Familiarity with online fraud prevention systems
Experience with rapid growth environments, such as scaling from 10 to hundreds of engineers
Experience transitioning from a large monolithic architecture to microservices
Proficiency in programming languages and tools including Golang, Ruby, Docker, Sinatra, Rails, and Postgres
Hands-on experience with cryptocurrency technologies and on-chain interactions, including Ethereum addresses and decentralized applications (dApps)
