The Opportunity for you…

Are you currently working at 2nd line, and looking to join a company that offers training, development, and progression? Then this is the job for you. Due to growth, our client is looking to add to their team.

As a 2nd line IT Support Engineer, you'll be based in the Lancaster office for an MSP who support nearly 300 clients. Our client has recently won contracts and in turn, needs to grow out their tech team. Safe to say they're heading in the right direction.

This MSP is looking for a Microsoft bias engineer who is looking for the next step in their career. This role consists of around 50% ticket work and 50% project work. It's a fluid environment so we will need someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and help the team out.

The service desk manager strongly encourages the development of his team and is keen for his employees to constantly upskill and in turn be offered promotions - a perfect opportunity for somebody wanting to progress their career. This company has actually seen one of their members of staff start out as an apprentice and work their way up to shareholder!

You will be working in a team of 5 alongside other analysts fixing IT issues from external customers to ensure their businesses can run smoothly. You will be working in a busy office environment and will have to be customer focused and able to manage customer expectations.

If you have hands on experience in a 2nd line service desk environment, then this could be the opportunity for you. We're after someone who has experience working in this environment and can come and hit the ground running. As well as this, it is important that you have the right attitude and are willing to learn whatever you don't know.

Driving license is required for this role to visit customer sites.
