Driver with Caring Duties

We are currently looking for a Driver with additional caring duties based in either Holywell Hospital or Magherafelt. This is a temporary role for a minimum of 2 to 3 months initially, with the potential for extension. 

The position is paid at £12.75 per hour and the working hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.

Duties of the position include:

• Safely transport clients / patients to and from care facilities.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
• Operate vehicle tail lifts, where necessary.
• Ensure the safe securing of wheelchair users using approved restraints.
• Deliver and collect food supplies, furniture, and other materials as directed by management.
• Provide general assistance to clients / patients based on their individual needs.
• Administer minor first aid to passengers when required.
• Support staff and clients during facility functions, day trips, and other outings under the supervision of the Care Assistant.

What we need from you

• Enhanced Access NI is required.
• Category D License is required with no restrictions.
• CPC Card valid for at least 2 years.
