Position: Residential Support Worker
Type: Full Time/Permanent
Salary DetailsUnqualified: Starting at £24,604.58, with potential earnings up to £32,348.58 including sleep-in shifts.
Qualified: Starting at £27,107.08, with potential earnings up to £34,851.08 including sleep-in shifts.
LocationBased in the beautiful area of Poole .
Working HoursShift patterns on rotation, including 7 x 24-hour shifts with sleep-ins.

We are on the lookout for passionate Residential Support Workers to join our dedicated team. Here, you will be part of a collaborative environment that values your individuality and supports your professional growth. All staff receive training in Developmental Trauma and therapeutic parenting, equipping you to provide the best possible support to our young people.
Your Role: Key Responsibilities- Work with children and young people, understanding the unique challenges they face.
- Be flexible with your availability, working 7 x 24-hour shifts, including sleep-ins.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of our young residents.
- Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with the young people.
- Collaborate effectively within a team, accepting guidance and direction.
- Encourage the development of individual interests and skills of our young residents.
- Hold or be willing to work towards a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent.
- Possess a full UK driving license and a car for travel purposes.
- Exhibit excellent communication and listening skills.
- Show a willingness to learn and grow.
- Be prepared to undergo an enhanced DBS check, which we will cover.
- Experience with Emotional Behavioral Disorder or Youth Work is a plus!
- Receive a sleep-in allowance of £64 per night.
- Enjoy up to 6 weeks of holiday per year.
