Salary:

• Unqualified: Base salary of £24,604.58, earning up to £32,348.58 with sleep-in shifts.
• Qualified: Base salary of £27,107.08, earning up to £34,851.08 with sleep-in shifts.

Location: Southampton

Hours: Shift pattern on rotation

We are on the lookout for passionate Residential Support Workers to join our team in Southampton. Here, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive environment that values your individuality. Our staff are trained in 'Developmental Trauma' and therapeutic parenting, equipping you to provide the best possible support to our young people.

• Support children and young people, understanding the unique challenges they face.
• Work flexible hours, including 7 x 24-hour shifts with sleep-ins over a 3-week rotation (09:00 am - 09:30 am the following day).
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of our young people.
• Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships.
• Collaborate effectively within a team, accepting guidance and direction.
• Encourage the development of individual interests and skills.
• Hold or be willing to work towards a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a full UK driving license and a car for travel purposes.
• Exhibit excellent communication and listening skills.
• Be eager to learn and grow in your role.
• Undergo an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by us).
• Experience with Emotional Behavioral Disorder, Social/Residential Work, or Youth Work is a plus!
