Play a pivotal role in extracting insights from complex data set to support digital strategies

Lead teams that analyze trends, performance metrics, customer behavior, providing a data driven foundation for decision making and measuring impact of digital initiatives

This role is full-time and requires a high level of commitment and understanding of data analytics and data management.

Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage resources and maintain clear communication channels to keep digital transformation and data projects aligned with business objectives.

Oversees execution and ROI outcomes of various digital initiatives in addition to data related projects

This role is required to keep abreast of industry news and trends about emerging technologies

Exposure to Oracle fusion would be preferred ( FAW/OAC etc)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Leads team of data scientists/data analysts and execute projects to produce business deliverables

Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting

Define company-wide metrics and relevant data sources

Select, configure, implement analytics solutions

Build systems to transform raw data into actionable insights

Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance

Analyze large amount of data to derive patterns/trends and thus gain business insights

Solving business problems using various logic and creativity

Use data visualization and storytelling to create custom reports and presentations

Coordinating tasks of teams working on big data projects and and ensuring efficiently completion

Coordinating team tasks including research, data collection using effective methods, information analysis and recommendation for business solutions

Communicates with cross functional departments and ensure their strategies and goals are aligned with company digital strategies

Qualifications

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in engineering ( computer science/IT preferred), statistics, data management or related field

Proven 5-8 years experience as an Analytics Manager or data scientists

Knowledge of excel, SQL, Python and R languages, Machine learning (ML) techniques and familiarity with BI tools (e.g. Tableau, SAS)

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems

Strong logical reasoning skills and business intelligence

Analytical skills and strong organizational abilities

Attention to detail and problem solving aptitude

Ability to rapidly and continually engage key resources/stakeholders for their input

Appetite for change, desire to optimize digital Transformation.

We are looking for individuals who are outstanding communicators, decisive, resilient and flexible.

Open to travel within the APAC regions or outside depending on business needs

Previous hands-on experience with operational and analytical BI tools is highly desired e.g. Oracle OTBI, FAW, Cognos, Power BI, Google Data Studio etc.
