Join Our Team as a People Administrator!
Are you an administrative whiz with a knack for thriving in fast-paced environments? If you’re confident with technology and eager to learn how to maximize IT systems, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We’re on the lookout for a People Administrator to join our dynamic team for up to 12 months, providing essential administrative support across the People Team.
In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, offering generalist HR admin support in areas such as employee relations, recruitment, and training activities. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our team runs smoothly and efficiently!
About the RSC People TeamThe RSC People Team is dedicated to providing expert advice on all people-related matters across the organization. Our specialists focus on various HR functions, all aimed at supporting the RSC's strategic goals.
Your Key Responsibilities- Act as the first point of contact for People-related queries, providing advice and guidance.
- Support the onboarding of new colleagues, ensuring a welcoming and positive experience from day one.
- Manage pre-employment checks to ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- Prepare and issue employment documents (e.g., contracts, probation letters) using our recruitment system (eArcu).
- Accurately input and monitor data in the HR & Payroll system (iTrent).
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Experience in administration within a fast-paced environment.
- A strong understanding of handling confidential information and data protection requirements.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- A proven ability to work flexibly and collaboratively.
- Initiative and a positive approach to problem-solving.
Additionally, you should be able to work to deadlines, remain calm under pressure, and prioritize your workload effectively. A desire to contribute as part of a busy team is essential!
Working ConditionsThis position is based in Stratford-upon-Avon with the option for some remote work. It’s a full-time, fixed-term contract, requiring 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We understand that flexibility is important, and we’re open to discussing hybrid working arrangements.
