Job Overview As an Intermediate Full Stack Engineer, you will join the Platform Development Team to help build and maintain scalable applications that interact with a complex IoT and cloud-based ecosystem.
You will contribute to high-level features that span multiple infrastructure components, ensuring the system remains responsive and efficient.
Responsibilities Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications within a microservices architecture.
Optimization: Enhance the stack for maximum speed, reliability, and scalability.
Quality Control: Write clean, maintainable code, implement automated testing, and participate in peer code reviews.
CI/CD & DevOps: Maintain and enhance CI/CD environments to ensure seamless cloud deployments.
Agile Collaboration: Work within an Agile framework to ship new features and troubleshoot existing systems.
Requirements Core Tech Stack: Experience: 3-5 years of professional full-stack development experience.
Languages & Frameworks: High proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, specifically with NestJS.
API Design: Strong understanding of RESTful API principles.
Tools: Experience with GitLab for code management and CI/CD pipelines.
Infrastructure: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Microservices architecture.
Methodology: Proven experience working in Agile environments.
Desirable Extras: Cloud: Experience with AWS services including EKS, RDS, S3, ElastiCache, and AWS Glue.
Data & Query: Experience with Graph Databases (e.g., Neo4J), InfluxDB, MySQL, Redis, and GraphQL.
IoT: Exposure to IoT technologies and the MQTT messaging protocol.
DevOps/Security: Experience with Terraform/CloudFormation (IaC), OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and DevSecOps practices.
Other Languages: Exposure to Python and Vue.
Soft Skills & Legal: Must have valid authorization to work in the Republic of Ireland. xcfaprz
