Level 1: New Apprentice/Summer Help $18-$22/hr (Based on Experience)

Requirements: Drivers license, physical endurance, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.

Basic Duties: Assist with sprinkler system installations, landscape lighting, and holiday decor setups involving digging, wiring, and climbing ladders.

Training Provided: Safe driving, trailer handling, pipe and wire connections, and app usage for controllers.

Advancement: 3-6 months to Level 2.

Level 2: Advanced Apprentice $22-$26/hr

Requirements: Ability to perform tasks independently.

Basic Duties: Advanced installations, valve manifolds, controllers, and trenching equipment operation.

Training Provided: Work toward CIT certification, leadership skills, electrical troubleshooting, and system layouts.

Advancement: 6-12 months to Level 3. Dig deepergrow stronger!


Level 3: Journeyman Foreman $24-$30/hr

Requirements: CIT certification, capability to handle service calls independently.

Basic Duties: Irrigation start-ups, monitoring and winterizing sprinkler systems, basic service calls, and basic installations.

Continuous Learning: Leadership development, work on becoming a certified irrigation contractor (CIC).

Advancement: 6-12 months to Level 4.

Level 4: Certified Irrigation Contractor - Foreman/Service Tech/Sales $30-$34/hr

Requirements: Certified Irrigation Contractor credential, advanced leadership skills, excellent troubleshooting skills, plant and tree knowledge. A class-A CDL is required to get to the high end of the pay scale.

Basic Duties: Lead teams, design, install and service sprinkler/lighting systems, oversee safety, and drive project success.

Continuous Growth: There is always more to learn about irrigation, lighting, trees and plants. Becoming a certified arborist is a great next step as well!


All positions: This role involves driving company vehicles and requires eligibility under our commercial auto insurance policy. Severe, recent, or frequent driving violations may affect qualification.


Other details:

  • The job is full-time (2000 hours per year) but seasonal (April through December), Year-round work may be available if you would like to switch to tree crew in the winter.
  • In the busy season we do require Saturdays and long days.
  • We do work in all types of weather conditions.
