We are looking for a passionate leader who can inspire and guide a skilled team of software engineers and interns, while also collaborating with global partners and consultants. Your mission will be to define the vision, strategy, and execution of crucial initiatives throughout the software development life cycle, ensuring innovation and quality at each stage. You will work closely with product managers, project leaders, and developers to deliver impactful software solutions that truly make a difference for our clients. Your leadership will be essential in driving successful outcomes from planning through delivery, while keeping senior management informed of progress and achievements. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of technology within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. You will report directly to the Director of Software Engineering. Key Responsibilities: Lead and partner with large offshore teams to tackle complex business challenges, serving as the technical contact. Manage your team, including recruitment, performance reviews, and providing constructive feedback. Write advanced code for complex systems, leading development initiatives as a technical expert. Serve as a go-to resource for coding and technical issues, providing strategic recommendations. Engage with customers and end-users to gather valuable design input across products. Conduct reviews to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and processes. Oversee all aspects of team performance, staffing, and resource planning. Act as a senior expert in software development best practices. Manage system and user acceptance testing cycles to ensure quality business solutions. Establish technical standards and lead reviews to maintain architectural integrity. Encourage a culture of diverse ideas and innovative solutions. Empower team members with autonomy in decision-making and accountability. Foster an environment that promotes new ideas and innovative thinking to drive improvements. Qualifications: 10+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong technical skills in Java, SQL, .NET, C#, Cloud technologies, or comparable platforms. Proficiency in Agile methodologies, SDLC, and modern development practices. Experience managing offshore teams across various time zones. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. Strong knowledge of project planning and management tools. Extensive software engineering experience, focusing on resource management. A natural problem-solver who collaborates effectively to resolve issues. Ability to lead, manage, and mentor engineering teams and offshore partners. Oversight of software development, maintenance, and production support when necessary. Analyze customer and system issues while ensuring compliance with service level agreements. Align technology strategies with business goals through collaboration with product and project teams. Drive continuous improvement in coding standards and deployment practices. Provide clear reporting on progress to senior management. Contribute to strategic decisions related to resource planning and budgeting. Compensation:
The U.S. National Base Pay Range is from $116,000 to $215,500, with potential geographic differentials based on local market conditions. This role also includes eligibility for an annual incentive bonus. Our Commitment:
