Position
The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of production operations .
Responsibilities
- Work schedule: 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (12-hour night shift );
- Supervise a team of approximately 15 production employees based on operational needs, in the most efficient manner possible;
- Ensure that all operators and production workers perform their duties optimally , in compliance with their training, company procedures, regulations, and policies;
- Know and comply with quality and food safety standards , occupational health and safety regulations , and company policies ;
- Ensure break coverage on the assigned production line;
- Ensure that all materials and resources required to meet production objectives are available;
- Meet production deadlines while ensuring a high-quality product ;
- Conduct daily facility inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety; apply corrective actions when required and follow up accordingly;
- Document management and production activities (logs and performance indicators);
- Submit continuous improvement ideas related to production processes;
- Welcome and onboard new employees ;
- Coordinate and ensure the training of production employees related to job tasks, safety standards, and company policies;
- Evaluate employees based on attendance, work quality, attitude , and established standards and objectives;
- Develop individual development plans with employees to improve performance;
- Ensure effective and healthy management of interpersonal and group conflicts ;
- Intervene when employee performance is unsatisfactory and apply disciplinary measures when necessary;
- Act as a technical resource for employees;
- Lead efficient team meetings ;
- Motivate the team by recognizing good performance and providing constructive feedback.
