This role offers an excellent opportunity to influence commercial decision-making, improve inventory performance, and support the next phase of business expansion.
Key ResponsibilitiesDemand Forecasting- Produce accurate weekly, monthly, and seasonal demand forecasts across product categories
- Develop volume-based purchasing forecasts to support buy plans and stock intake
- Continuously refine forecasts using historical trends, seasonality, and trading performance
- Identify risks and opportunities versus targets and recommend actions
- Support the development of sales and margin targets with Finance and Buying teams
- Analyse margin performance across products, suppliers, and promotional activity
- Monitor cost changes and profitability drivers
- Provide clear reporting on performance versus budget and forecast
- Build replenishment models using rate-of-sale, stock cover, and seasonal demand
- Manage stock flow using open-to-buy frameworks to balance availability and cash control
- Identify and manage slow-moving or excess stock through action plans
- Lead out-of-stock reporting and root cause analysis to minimise lost sales
- Analyse promotional performance including sales uplift, margin impact, and ROI
- Provide insights to improve future promotional planning and profitability
- Work closely with Buying, Finance, Merchandising, and Supply Chain teams
- Support purchase order planning, supplier management, and trading decisions
- 3+ years’ experience in demand planning, merchandising, xcfaprz replenishment, or supply chain analytics
- Background in retail or FMCG preferred
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets
- Advanced Excel or planning system experience
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment
