(Principal) Product Architect SaaS/IoT (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the architectural design and development of our SaaS/IoT products and lead our group of Software Architects professionally
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions
• Improve collaboration of the different functions such as development, quality assurance, devops and software security and foster transparency in our product area.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud services, tools, and technologies to optimize the performance, reliability, and scalability of our offerings
• Define and enforce best practices for security, performance, and maintainability in SaaS product development together with our Engineering Management team
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance our product architecture

Experience & Skills

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP or Oracle Cloud
• In-depth knowledge of SaaS product architectures, microservices, microfrontends and containerization
• Familiarity with IoT frameworks and protocols, e.g. MQTT, is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable SaaS/IoT solutions
• Excellent English communication and leadership skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are advantageous
