Machine Learning Engineer - Contract We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Machine Learning Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge generative AI solutions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with large language models, cloud-based AI platforms, and modern data systems to transform unstructured data into intelligent, production-ready applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and be responsible for critical components in model development, integration, and deployment within real-world settings. This is a W2 contract position, and applicants must work on a W2 basis. $40.00 to $48.00/hr. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain large language model (LLM) agents and tools using Python, TensorFlow, and modern ML libraries. Utilize cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, along with AI/ML services for model training, fine-tuning, and deployment. Implement and optimize retrieval augmented generation (RAG) pipelines employing vector and graph databases. Develop workflows for processing unstructured data, including text and images. Deploy generative AI models such as Gemini, Claude, or GPT variants in production environments. Work collaboratively within a structured engineering environment to ensure adherence to technical leveling and quality standards. Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of experience with a Bachelor's in a STEM field or 1 year with a Master's, focusing on machine learning and software development. Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure AI/ML services for model training, fine-tuning, and deployment. Proficiency in Python and TensorFlow, along with common ML libraries for LLM system development. Practical experience with generative AI models such as Gemini, Claude, or GPT variants. Familiarity with vector databases like Milvus or Postgres, along with graph databases and knowledge representation techniques, including RAG. Ability to effectively process and transform unstructured data from various media. Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM field with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
