Job Description This role is for a Computer Hardware Technician with expertise in performing repairs and installations for laptops and desktops.
Previous experience working with laptop and desktop hardware is essential. Upon joining, you will receive complimentary certification in Dell and Lenovo products. Job Highlights This position is a 1099 Contract role that offers a variable call volume, averaging between 2 to 5 service calls each day. Compensation is based on completed service tickets, starting at $35 each. Your main responsibility will be conducting hardware part replacements as part of Dell and Lenovo warranty services. Payments are processed every Friday following the completion of your first week of service tickets. A dependable means of transportation is crucial for traveling to service calls. Access to a computer and internet is required to log into your tech portal. Work hours are from Monday to Friday. You will need to log into your tech portal by 9 am each workday to accept, update, and schedule service calls. You are responsible for contacting customers to confirm the timing of onsite service. Manufacturer-supplied parts for repairs will be available for pickup at FedEx. Additionally, you will receive shipping labels and materials to return any parts that have been replaced.
