Solution Architect - R&D Mining (m/f/d) Germany - Kitzingen (near Würzburg)

• Preparation of documents for architecture decision-making regarding the evolution of the landscape for a portfolio of solutions in the Research and Development, Product Lifecycle Management and Mining domain
• Preparation of Project Quality Gate documents and related descriptions
• Communicate implications of application architectural decisions, issues and plans with the Enterprise Architects and peer Solution Architect
• Demonstrates proficiency in comprehending vendor roadmaps across R&D, Product Lifecycle Management, and Mining solutions, while concurrently developing enhancement and release roadmaps for corresponding platforms
• Establishes solution evolution in accordance with domain and platform strategy, while also defining solution architecture within projects

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or completed vocational training with several years of relevant on-the-job experience
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, application management, databases, cloud, network, security, IAM, monitoring, and ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies
• Relevant experience in developing solutions and business applications within specific domains such as Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, Product Lifecycle Management, and Mining
• Methodological expertise with experience in project management and consulting methods is a plus
• Understanding of good requirements engineering and scope management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and ideally in German too
