ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a Frontend-Focused Software Engineer to join their team in Houston, TX, working in a hybrid model with on-site presence required Tuesday through Thursday. In this role, you will drive front-end development for a project where the majority of work centers on UI/UX design, Angular development, and user-centric feature implementation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable software and contribute to both design and development decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong programming and algorithm background, with hands-on experience in modern front-end technologies and the flexibility to support backend tasks as needed.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Develop and maintain front-end features using Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS Design and implement user-centric UI/UX solutions, actively contributing to design decisions Create self-contained, reusable, and testable Angular modules and components Utilize RxJS, NgRx, SignalR, and SVG/D3 graphics to build interactive and dynamic interfaces Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment to deliver robust software solutions Support backend development tasks as needed, demonstrating full-stack flexibility Employ version control and development tools such as Git, Visual Studio 2002, and VS Code Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure code quality and maintainability WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field with a strong programming and algorithm background Ability to create self-contained, reusable, and testable Angular modules and components Two or more years of experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS One or more years of experience with RxJS, NgRx, SignalR, and SVG/D3 graphics Knowledge of Python, C#.Net, Git, Visual Studio 2002, and VS Code UI/UX design experience for contributing to design decisions (preferred) Ability to support backend tasks as needed (full-stack flexibility preferred)
