DevOPs Resources (Deployments and Support) Location:

Responsibilities: Environment Configuration
Set up, deploy and configure test environments based on requirements from QA and development teams. Install and configure operating systems, databases, and application servers.
Maintenance and Upgrades
Perform regular maintenance tasks including updates, patches, and backups. Upgrade environment components as needed to support new testing requirements and technologies.
Issue Resolution
Respond to support tickets and resolve issues related to all non-prod environments. Conduct root cause analysis for recurring problems and implement permanent solutions.
Security
Ensure all test environments comply with security policies and best practices. Implement and maintain security controls to protect sensitive data and systems.
Resource Management
Monitor resource usage (e.g., CPU, memory, storage) and optimize configurations for performance. Allocate and manage resources to support multiple concurrent testing activities.
AWS/Kubernetes
8+ years of experience in Deployment and support for non-prod Ovation applications and related infrastructure ensuring maximum up-time for testing & business teams to complete their test cycles. Participate in Production readiness activities such as reviewing/updating runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and Monitoring dashboards. AWS DevOps/Support experience, Kafka, Kubernetes (Rancher), Vault, Harness, Jenkins, Artifactory Detailed understanding of:
AWS services relevant to application support, such as EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch. Hands-on experience with Rancher Kubernetes, including deploying, managing, and troubleshooting containerized applications. CI/CD tools such as Artifactory, Jenkins and GIT Monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk/SignalFx Experience with ServiceNow/JIRA
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues.
