IJW Whiskey Company, LLC (IJW) is a dynamic, fully integrated whiskey company. Founded in 2017, we've compiled the largest independent library of aged Kentucky bourbon and rye and established a global presence including offices in Beverly Hills, Louisville and Tokyo, Japan, a 100-acre campus in Danville and a bottling facility in Harrodsburg. In 2023, we will break ground on two distilleries, one in Shelbyville Kentucky and one in Chitose Japan.

As the Systems Administrator, you will be a key member of our IT support team, responsible for addressing complex technical issues and providing advanced troubleshooting to ensure the smooth operation of our information technology systems. You will play a crucial role in resolving tickets, assisting personnel, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our technology environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional to make a significant impact in supporting our company's technology needs.
Job Responsibilities:
Advanced Technical Support: Handle IT support tickets, investigating and resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues. Provide timely and effective technical assistance to end-users, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Assist in any new hire IT onboarding requirements. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced technical problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals. Analyze system logs, network traces, and error messages to identify root causes of recurring issues. System Administration:
Assist with server and network administration tasks, including user account management, permissions, and access controls. Participate in system maintenance, updates, and patches to ensure the stability and security of our IT infrastructure. Software and Application Support:
Install, configure, and update software applications, ensuring their proper functionality and compatibility. Provide guidance to end-users on the effective use of software and applications. IT Security and Compliance:
Collaborate with the IT team to implement security measures, such as data encryption and access controls, to safeguard sensitive information. Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures and assist with security audits. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
Maintain detailed records of support activities, solutions, and troubleshooting steps in the knowledge base. Contribute to creating and updating technical documentation, FAQs, and user guides. Must have Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred but not required. Proven experience as a Tier 2 IT Support Specialist or in a similar technical support role. In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications. Strong expertise in diagnosing and resolving network-related issues. Proficiency in Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and desktop imaging. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. A proactive attitude, with a keen interest in staying updated with the latest technology trends.
