Job Summary:
Provides nursing care to residents according to physicians' orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practices, established standards and administrative policies.
Job Responsibilities:
Administer personal hygienic, preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to residents. Assist in maintaining a positive physical, social and psychological environment in accordance with residents needs and facility philosophy. Provides for the community and priority of resident care while assuring for the comfort, emotional care and support of residents Assist with the nursing process of the unit, and provides input regarding needed or desired changes Maintains documentation which accurately and completely records data pertaining to individual resident care, condition and treatment initiates and supervises necessary action on the event of an emergency or disaster Protects residents, their privacy and property Provides staff coverage for the following shift in the event of absenteeism Confers with the DON as necessary to provide input regarding resident care needs, staffing requirements and nursing supply needs for the units 10 Wilmington Place is an Equal Opportunity Employer
