About
Seeking skilled Forklift Operators for our Austin, Texas location! As a key member of our logistics team, you will ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials within our distribution center. Your responsibilities will include operating various types of forklifts to transport, stack, and retrieve inventory. This role requires a strong focus on Safety and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, managing inventory placement, and ensuring that all goods are handled with care. Daily pre-shift inspections of equipment and adherence to maintenance schedules are critical. We value experienced operators who can work independently and as part of a team, contributing to the seamless flow of our logistics operations. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, excellent spatial awareness, and a deep understanding of warehouse Safety protocols. While operating machinery is the primary focus, some manual Lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required. Proper use of PPE is mandatory at all times. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and proficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Organize and stack inventory in designated areas.
- Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance on forklifts.
- Follow all Safety regulations and company procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE consistently.
- Accurately record inventory movements.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including manual Lifting.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety standards and practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional manual Lifting.
- Strong understanding of logistics and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
