About
Are you an experienced and certified Forklift Operator? We are looking for a skilled individual to join our warehouse operations in Des Moines, Iowa. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, stacking, and retrieving materials throughout the facility. This role requires precision, a strong understanding of warehouse Safety, and the ability to operate various types of forklifts. Your contributions are vital to our logistics efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers with accuracy and care.
- Transport raw materials and finished goods to and from designated areas.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated storage locations.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and record-keeping.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and maintaining a safe work area.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Thorough understanding of forklift Safety procedures and warehouse logistics.
- Strong spatial awareness and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Commitment to following all Safety guidelines.
