Job Summary:
Our dynamic logistics team in Seattle, Washington is seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our ranks. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, identifying discrepancies, conducting regular cycle counts, and implementing strategies to improve inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of inventory management principles, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of warehouse operations. Your work will directly impact our supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with other warehouse staff and management to ensure all inventory-related processes are executed flawlessly. Proper PPE will be provided, and adherence to all safety protocols is mandatory. The role involves regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Experience with inventory management software is a plus. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
  • Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or overages.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
  • Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory.
  • Assist in training new team members on inventory processes.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives for inventory management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all Safety guidelines.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in WMS or inventory management software.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of Safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
