As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for efficiently retrieving items from our warehouse stock based on customer orders, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. This involves using RF scanners to locate inventory, verifying product accuracy, ensuring items are packed safely and securely, and applying correct shipping labels. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. We prioritize a safe workplace, making the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) a mandatory requirement for all employees. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify product codes and quantities against orders.
- Inspect items for quality and condition before packing.
- Pack items using appropriate materials to ensure safe delivery.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet established productivity and quality metrics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and correct usage of PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
