Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and conducting cycle counts.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Support shipping operations by preparing orders for dispatch.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.
- Physical ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
This role requires a strong understanding of logistics processes and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace. Proper PPE usage is mandatory, and regular lifting is a key component of the job.
