Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate in Durham, North Carolina! This role is critical to our daily logistics operations, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep our warehouse running smoothly. Your day-to-day activities will include receiving, processing, picking, packing, and shipping orders.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and in a timely manner using order sheets and scanning equipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our logistics network.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
