Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system inventory and physical counts.
- Monitor and manage inventory movement within the warehouse, ensuring proper documentation and system updates.
- Identify and report damaged or expired goods, and coordinate returns or disposals.
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to implement inventory control best practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking and reporting.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the inventory control function.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse, or logistics operations.
- Proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring moderate physical exertion, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to safety and willingness to follow all guidelines.
