About
We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position is essential for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our facility. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, and transport inventory, playing a key role in our daily logistics operations. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, experienced, and possesses a strong understanding of warehouse procedures. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a secure work environment are crucial. Responsibilities include:
- Operating forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Loading and unloading goods from trucks and other transport vehicles.
- Ensuring proper placement and organization of inventory within the warehouse.
- Conducting daily inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Assisting with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Adhering strictly to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
- Reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory control.
- Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
