Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Verify product details and quantities against order requirements to ensure precision.
- Pack picked items securely and efficiently for transit, using suitable packaging materials.
- Utilize handheld scanners for inventory tracking and order updates.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace in compliance with company standards.
- Participate in inventory checks and cycle counting activities.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Immediately report any stock discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless order processing.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting tasks, with a capacity of up to 40 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse picking/packing role is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret pick tickets accurately.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Capacity to work effectively in a high-volume logistics environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach continuously throughout the shift.
- Dedication to workplace safety and the correct application of PPE.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
