Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in San Francisco, California. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee all daily warehouse operations, including staffing, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and Safety compliance. You will be responsible for motivating your team, optimizing workflow, and ensuring that all operational goals are met efficiently and effectively. This leadership role is critical to our logistics success and requires a proven track record in warehouse management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, providing guidance and training.
  • Oversee all inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage inventory control, including stock counts, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Implement and enforce all Safety policies and procedures, ensuring a secure work environment.
  • Conduct regular Safety training and ensure all team members use appropriate PPE.
  • Monitor workflow and productivity, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Schedule staff and manage labor effectively to meet operational demands.
  • Operate warehouse equipment as needed and ensure its proper maintenance.
  • Resolve operational issues and address employee concerns promptly.
  • Maintain strong communication with upper management and other departments.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
  • Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software.
  • Knowledge of inventory control procedures and Safety regulations.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to motivate a team.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of Safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
