Our Seattle, Washington logistics center is seeking a diligent Warehouse Associate to join our operations. This role is central to our efficient distribution network, involving a variety of tasks critical to the smooth running of the warehouse. You will be involved in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness at every stage. The ideal candidate is a reliable, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will operate warehouse equipment and must strictly adhere to safety procedures. Your contributions are vital to maintaining our inventory integrity and meeting customer demands. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, mandating the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all employees and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. This position requires the ability to perform tasks involving regular lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training and certification provided if necessary).
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping and cycle counts.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE use.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Understand and implement efficient warehouse logistics practices.
- Perform duties involving frequent lifting and physical exertion.
- Identify and report any hazards or operational inefficiencies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment is a plus.
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
Commitment to safety standards and consistent use of PPE.
