About
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee operations at our Nashville, Tennessee facility. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, and staff supervision. You will ensure that all logistics processes are executed efficiently, accurately, and safely. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse management systems and supply chain operations. Your ability to coordinate tasks, manage resources, and uphold strict Safety standards, including the proper use of PPE, is essential. You will also be involved in strategic planning to optimize warehouse performance and drive continuous improvement in our logistics network. Significant Lifting may be required on occasion. Responsibilities:
- Supervise warehouse staff and assign tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
- Oversee all aspects of shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Implement and enforce warehouse Safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Optimize warehouse layout and operations for maximum efficiency.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure operational readiness.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures, Safety protocols, and the correct use of PPE.
- Coordinate with other departments and external partners to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Handle occasional heavy Lifting and assist team members as needed.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or coordination.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with warehouse management software (WMS) and other relevant technologies.
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety and experience with implementing Safety programs.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with managing staff and optimizing team performance.
- Ability to perform occasional heavy Lifting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
