We are looking for a diligent Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Madison, Wisconsin. As an Order Picker, you will be crucial in retrieving the correct items from our inventory to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. This role demands precision, speed, and a keen eye for detail. You will navigate the warehouse using order sheets or scanners, ensuring all items are picked and prepared for the next stage of the logistics process. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order specifications.
- Use scanning devices or pick lists to locate items.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Verify picked items against order details.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or a warehouse environment is an advantage.
- Ability to perform consistent lifting up to 35 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
