About
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Material Handlers to join our dynamic warehouse team in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement of goods within our facility. Your responsibilities will include receiving, processing, and distributing materials according to established procedures. This position is vital to our overall logistics operations and requires a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to safety .
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Moving materials to and from storage areas, production areas, or shipping docks.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Checking inventory levels and reporting any discrepancies.
- Accurately documenting material movement and status.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures, including strict adherence to safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ).
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting , typically up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE .
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
