Key Responsibilities:
- Read order lists and accurately pick items from warehouse shelves.
- Use scanning devices to track picked items and update inventory.
- Assemble orders and prepare them for packing and shipping.
- Ensure accuracy of all picked items against order specifications.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in inventory checks as needed.
- Meet performance standards for picking speed and accuracy.
- Properly use all required PPE.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and labels.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capacity for frequent lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics is helpful.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to follow all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Previous order picking experience is a plus.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
