About
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Omaha, Nebraska. This leadership role is critical to overseeing the daily operations of our distribution center, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and the highest standards of Safety. As a supervisor, you will manage a team of warehouse associates, delegate tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance and training. Key responsibilities include coordinating receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and shipping processes within our logistics framework. You will be responsible for enforcing all Safety policies, conducting regular safety audits, and ensuring that all team members utilize the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems and best practices. The ability to motivate a team, resolve conflicts, and drive continuous improvement is essential. While supervisory in nature, you may occasionally need to assist with physical tasks, including organized Lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct daily warehouse activities and personnel.
- Ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders.
- Implement and enforce all Safety procedures and protocols.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices and operational standards.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback.
- Manage inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Optimize space utilization and maintain a clean, organized warehouse.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Conduct regular team meetings and safety briefings.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety and experience with PPE requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to perform occasional physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
