We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics network. The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving and stocking inventory, order fulfillment, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility. This position requires an individual who is physically capable, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding our high standards of Safety and efficiency. You will be working with a diverse range of products, ensuring accurate handling and storage. The ability to follow instructions precisely and work effectively in a team setting is crucial. We prioritize a safe working environment, and all employees are expected to strictly adhere to safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves significant physical demands, including frequent and substantial Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Organize warehouse shelves and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Follow all established Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Participate in all mandatory Safety training sessions.
- Handle tasks requiring frequent Lifting of materials up to 60 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is an asset.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including significant Lifting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Willingness to wear and properly use all required PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and sometimes demanding environment.
- Basic knowledge of inventory control.
- Commitment to supporting logistics operations.
