We are seeking a motivated and dependable Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. As a Material Handler, you will be instrumental in the efficient movement and organization of materials within our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, and staging products for shipment. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all warehouse procedures. You will work closely with supervisors and fellow team members to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment. Attention to detail is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and preventing damages. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and properly store materials.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Pick and pack orders accurately based on customer requirements.
- Stage completed orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Report any damaged goods or discrepancies immediately.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to Safety and the use of required PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
Must be able to perform manual labor, including significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs regularly). Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus. Strong understanding of Logistics operations. Commitment to workplace Safety. Must be able to work flexible hours. Previous experience as a Material Handler is preferred but not required.
