Our Distribution Center in Madison, Wisconsin, is looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our dynamic team. As a DC Associate, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our facility. This role involves a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment, emphasizing adherence to all **Safety** protocols and the use of appropriate **PPE**. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and **Safety**-compliant work area.
- Follow all **Safety** guidelines, including proper **Lifting** techniques and material handling procedures.
- Wear required **PPE** at all times.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and audits.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of **Logistics** operations.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is advantageous.
- Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions.
- Familiarity with **Logistics** processes is a plus.
- Strong commitment to **Safety** and workplace regulations.
- Willingness to use **PPE** as mandated.
- Capacity for physical work, including frequent **Lifting** of up to 50 lbs.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team.
- Good communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED required.
